SOUTHWICK-Dr.Harold D.Jester died December 8, 2010 at Noble Hospital in Westfield. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 30, 1926 1926 to the late William H. and Nora Lofland (Fisher) Jester. In 1973 Dr. Jester retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Lt. Col. after a distinguished career as a Chaplain during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Dr. Jester also served his community as a Clinical Psychologist and owner of The Counseling Center in Springfield. He authored four published books and many published articles. He had lived in Southwick for the last four years, coming from East Longmeadow. He leaves his wife of 26 years, Marcia Lee (Andress) Jester, of Southwick; five children: Catherine, Carol, Daniel, David and Michael; three step-children: David, Sharon and Thomas; and three grandchildren: Sarah, April and Lydia. The funeral with military honors will be held at 12 Noon on December 18,2010 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1 Porter Rd., East Longmeadow, MA. A reception will follow in the Great Hall. Burial will take place in the Spring at St. Mark’s Memorial Garden.
