WEST SPRINGFIELD - Greta A. Breglio-Redman, 57, passed away on July 26th 2016, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home. A native of West Springfield, Greta was born on April 14th, 1959 in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Dr. Robert A. Breglio and Randi Breglio (Steen). Always the creative type, she pursued her passions and received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Swain School of Design in New Bedford, MA and a Masters of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City. She was a brilliant Costume Designer, lending her talents to The Drama Studio in Springfield and the Entertainment Department at Six Flags New England. A skilled Visual Merchandiser, she created window displays for Barneys New York, Zoot (New York), and Steiger's in Springfield. An artist, she was a Drawing and Painting Instructor at the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum. She was a proud member of the Sons of Norway, the West Springfield Arts Council, and Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Scott, of 31 years and beloved daughters Isabelle and Emma. Creativity was her life – she saw the world with a rich palette, colored with pattern and loving whimsy. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Ave, Springfield, MA on Saturday, August 13th, 2016 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Drama Studio, Springfield, MA. Or in honoring her wishes, ‘plant a tree’. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield has been entrusted with the arrangements. Visit
