Grace S. Tubbs
December 13, 1925 — October 7, 2019
Grace Shaylor Tubbs, 93, passed away on October 7, 2019, in Holyoke, Massachusetts at Mary’s Meadow at Providence Place, where her loving family was keeping vigil with her. She will be sorely missed.
Grace grew up in Agawam, Massachusetts, and attended the University of New Hampshire, where she was one of the few women of her generation to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics.
With her husband of 55 years, Donald Tubbs, she started a successful industrial motor repair business, where she worked for 35 years.
In retirement Grace traveled the world, and was an avid geocacher. She is survived by her three sons, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
