ENFIELD, CT – Gerard R. Grenier, 71, died October 6, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Augusta, ME to the late Wilfred and Blandine (Gilbert) Grenier, he lived in Hartford County for sixty-four years and was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Enfield. Gerard served in the Air Force. He had worked at Dunham-Bush as a supervisor.
He leaves his wife of forty-four years, Anne Marie (Gionet) Grenier; a son, Ronald Gerard Grenier of Enfield, CT; two daughters: Theresa Parenteau and her husband, Keith, of Westfield, MA and Monique Caye and her husband, Robin, of Slidell, LA; two brothers: Larry Grenier of CT and Leopold Grenier of Coventry, CT; five grandchildren: Chantel and Arielle Parenteau and Kirk, Brett and Brendan Caye and several other family members.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill St., Springfield MA. Visitation will precede the celebration from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Friday.
