George W. Slicer

WEST SPRINGFIELD – George William Slicer, 44, died March 25, 2010. He was born in Springfield and was a lifelong area resident. George loved computers and was an avid New England sports fan of the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics. He leaves two sons, Bret W. Slicer and Adrian P. Slicer and their mother, Marcella (Barber) Slicer, all of Springfield; his mother, Irene Wilson (Gozdur) Slicer Kingston and his step-father, Ernest Kingston of West Springfield; his father, George A. Slicer of Rhode Island; three brothers: Walter J. “Keo” Slicer and his wife, Sonia, of Springfield, David A. Slicer of Agawam and Tony J. Slicer of West Springfield; several nieces and nephews and his friends, Paul and Vicky and several friends at Parish Cupboards of West Springfield. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard E. Slicer.
