George R. Brehm

Easthampton – George R. Brehm, 71, passed away on December 25, 2024. He was born in Holyoke on December 30, 1952, the son of the late George and Nelda (Buls) Brehm. He grew up in South Hadley and was a graduate of South Hadley High School, Class of 1970. He enjoyed nature photography, hiking on his property and spending time with his loving family. He is survived by his children: Matthew George Brehm and Lisa Schaarschmidt, both of South Hadley. He also leaves two sisters: Mary Durda and her husband Paul of Needham, MA and Susan Krout and her partner Robert of San Luis Obispo, CA. He will be sadly missed by three grandchildren: Jayna, Callia and Tealin Schaarschmidt and his former wife and close friend Beth (Whitcomb) Brehm.
