Longmeadow - Gary J. Maharne, 72, passed away at the Jewish Nursing Home of Western MA on August 31, 2022.
He was born in Springfield, MA on October 9, 1949, a son of the late John and Nancy (St. Germain) Maharne. He attended local schools and was a computer programmer for IBM.
He is survived by his son Kevin Maharne (Heather) of Agawam, MA, his daughters: Christine Dubour (Thomas) of Enfield, CT, Monica Lefebvre (Ronnie) of Belchertown, MA and Jennifer Dos Santos (Jack) of Becket, MA. He also leaves his siblings: Michael Maharne (Carol) of Hampden, MA, Sharon Belmer (Jim) and Michelle Frodema (Peter), both of Hampden, MA and eleven grandchildren: Lindsay, Jason, Jacob, Matthew, Joshua, Jeremy, Aaron, Jonathan, Nathan, Tiffany and Madeline.
A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 4-6PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA.
