Ludlow - Frank P. Maello, Jr., 75, a life-long Massachusetts resident, passed away on October 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Springfield on August 7, 1947 the son of the late Frank P. Maello, Sr. and Henrietta Kunz Maello. Frank grew up in West Springfield and graduated from Springfield Trade High School. He retired from Wilbraham & Monson Academy as the Head Groundskeeper. When he wasn’t working, he loved his frequent vacations to Ocean City, NJ and his “Happy Place” Borgata Resort in Atlantic City, NJ. Frank was a member of UNICO and the Past Exalted Ruler of West Springfield and Agawam Elks Lodge.
Predeceased by his parents and a sister-in law Carolyn Anderson, he is survived by his loving wife Donna L. (Wilson) Maello of Ludlow; two daughters: Amy Beth Forkey (Jason) of Ludlow and Alyson Maello of WV; four grandchildren: Jagger and Jamison Forkey and Luckas Thompson and Logan Maello; sisters-in-law Patricia Walsh (Den) of CT and Kathy Goodchild of Springfield; close cousin Tom Anderson (Laura) of Springfield and other family and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
