Frances N. Warner

Frances N. Warner, age 87, of West Springfield, passed away December 27, 2023 at home with family. She was born in Springfield on March 2, 1936, a daughter of the late Phillip and Mary Nelmes. She lived in CT for many years before returning to West Springfield, MA. She was always smiling and made friends wherever she went. She had several jobs over the years, working at New England School Supply was where she met her long-time friend Sandy. They enjoyed playing cards weekly and going to their favorite lunch spots. She finished her working career at Westvaco Envelope Division. When she retired, she helped take care of the grandkids which she talked about fondly. She delivered Meals on Wheels, enjoyed bowling, ceramics, and gardening. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Springfield Rescue Mission, St Jude, or the Parish Cupboard in West Springfield, MA which were a few of her favorites. Frances is survived by her son Frederick Warner of Windsor Locks, CT, her daughter Christine Giguere of West Springfield, her sister Phyllis Thomas of Feeding Hills, and her two grandsons Gavin and Justin Giguere. The New England Funeral & Cremation Center at 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA has been entrusted with the arrangements and the services will be private.
