Florence M. Colletti

SPRINGFIELD-Florence M. Colletti, 89, died October 1, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. She was born on July 20, 1924 in Springfield, MA to the late Dominick and Cora (DeFalco) Garreffi. She served in the U.S. Army during WW II. Ms. A lifelong area resident, she was a member of St. Michael’s Church in East Longmeadow. Predeceased by her parents, first husband, Guido John Colletti and her second husband, Donald Elder, she leaves her daughter, Brenda Colletti Wrobel Edwards and her partner Gerald Bechard of Springfield, MA, brothers: Frank, Albert, Dominick, and Michael Garreffi; sisters, Rose Giguere and Gloria Vancini, grandchildren, Melanie Wrobel and Heather DeCasse and her husband Anthony R. DeCasse III, great grandchildren: Haley Wrobel, Anthony DeCasse and Nicholas DeCasse, other loved ones and her pride and joy Silky Terrier Ben. Family and friends are invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10:00AM at St. Michael’s Church, East Longmeadow, MA. Rites of internment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
