Evelyn Rusk Khouri

Chicopee-As our lives began with Mother Dear and as our lives will continue with great grief without our Mother Dear, Evelyn Lucy Rusk Khouri, 73, died March 15, 2009 at home. Born in Boston to the late David Squires and Alice (Barner) Boucher, she was an area resident since 1964. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, George Khouri, who passed in 2004 and also by her parents and four siblings, Joseph and George Boucher, Barbara Loving and Alice Boucher. She is survived by her former husband, Robert Rusk of NC with whom she shared 39 years of marriage. Evelyn leaves her greatest gifts in life behind-her family: one son, Ken Rusk of TN; four daughters, Lucy and her husband, Mac McKenzie, of CO, Lisa Rusk of Chicopee, Teri and her husband, Davi Guilbert, of TN and Renee and her husband, Joe Prince, of Chicopee. Evelyn has eight grandchildren: Robert Quesnel, Matthew Rusk, Jodie Leigh Rusk, Joshua Hawn, Cara Bator, Jarrod Hawn, Brandon Bator and KateLynne Eve Winseck and five great-grandchildren: Druex, Braden, Sadie-Hanna, Annabell and Robert. She also leaves two brothers: Arthur Boucher of Canton and Robert Boucher of Stoughton; two sisters: Carol Barlow of WA and Josephine Elizabeth “Betty” Hudson of Brockton and many other family members and special friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 1:15 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 603 New Ludlow Road, Chicopee. Family and friends are also invited to an inurnment service on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.
