Esther M. O'Connor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Esther M. O'Connor on February 17th, 2024. Esther was an energetic, creative woman with many interests. She loved people and was known for her quick wit. In fact, she was recently voted as having the best “one liners” at Ruth's House, the assisted living facility where she lived and loved the staff and residents. Before becoming ill a few years ago she was always on the go, cooking, working in her home or garden and playing games. She loved to entertain and her dinner parties would be the talk of the town. Esther is predeceased by her siblings as well as her husband, Edward O'Connor and her daughter Deborah Moriarty. She leaves behind her children Beverly Ringuette, Leonard Megliola, Carol Roney and Linda Bergeron as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on March 22, 2024 at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA. Please arrive at 2:45PM for a 3:00PM service.
