Springfield-Erdine Lila (Jones) Korell, 100, died July 25, 2009 at Wingate at Springfield. She was born in Springfield to the late Daniel and Myrtle (Bennett) Jones. Erdine worked as a senior aide for various social services. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Korell; four children: Eugene A., Oscar H. “Howie”, Ollie D. and Ruth Korell and two brothers: Paul and Lyle Jones.
She leaves two daughters, Eleanor Dudek of Hudson, NH and Norma Morton of Ludlow, MA; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
