Elmer Chilson, Jr.

Springfield - Elmer "Rusty" Chilson, Jr. died on April 3, 2012 at Chapin Center in Springfield, MA. Born in Hartford, CT on May 18, 1929 to the late Elmer H.Chilson and Beatrice (Maston) Chilson, he worked as a delivery driver for Crown Furniture and enjoyed racecars and Riverside Speedway. Pre-deceased by his siblings, Alan Chilson, Lois Haranoc and Doris Chilson, he leaves his former wife, Mary(McGrath) Chilson; his children: Anna Mae Chilson, Richard McGrath, William Chilson, Doris Blais, Mary Bruneau, Philip Chilson, Timothy Chilson and Cathy Tavares; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 PM.
