SPRINGFIELD-Elizabeth A. Husson, 82, died February 18, 2013 at Redstone Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born on August 26, 1930 in Springfield, MA, she was a lifelong area resident. Elizabeth was an original Breck Girl Model in the 1930’s. She and her late husband, Samuel Husson, owned taverns in the area including Sam’s Colonial in the North End of Springfield, Hugo’s Cafe in Northampton, MA and Lizzy’s Cafe in Worthington, MA. She also enjoyed traveling and the casinos. She leaves her sister, Shirley of NJ; nephews: Robert Scanlon of Springfield, MA, Mark Scanlon of RI, Charles Scanlon of CT and James Scanlon of GA; nieces, Debbie Ackerman of NJ and Cheryl Ford of FL and her great nieces and nephews.
