Elizabeth Carras

AGAWAM – Elizabeth Carras (Vershon), longtime resident of Agawam, has passed away peacefully on July 28, 2016 at her home with the love of her life, husband George Vershon, Jr., at her side. She was the proud daughter of the late John and Angie (Demos) Carras also from Agawam. Beth was a graduate of Elms College and UMass Amherst. She recently retired as a professor at STCC in Springfield. Beth so enjoyed hosting her family and friends especially around the holidays and was an avid gardener. A calling hour will be from 10:30 – 11:30 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in the Meeting House located at Storrowton Village, followed by a luncheon.
