Springfield – Elaine C. (Thomas) Ohs, 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
She was born in Trafford, PA on July 12, 1938, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Divens) Thomas.
Elaine enjoyed crafting, knitting, and community service. She retired from LeCroy as Human Resources Director and a bridal shop, both in Spring Valley, NY. She also worked for Helena Rubenstein in New York City.
She is survived by her husband Peter R. Ohs, her son Jonathan D. Resnick and his wife Sarah Comis of Oakton, VA, her daughter Elizabeth K. Krahenbuhl and her husband Frank of Nashua, NH, her personal care giver and adopted family member Katherine Sanchez and her family of Springfield and many other family members.
She was predeceased by her first husband and father of her children, Mel Resnick.
