Edwin A. Skipton

NEW SALEM--Edwin A. Skipton, 92, pased away on September 10, 2012 at Wingate at South Hadley, MA. Born on December 18, 1919 to the late Horace and Edna (Horn) Skipton, he was a minister in the Episcopal Diocese. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. A fun-loving guy, he was loved by everyone he met. Predeceased by his wife Iris (Piper), a brother and two sisters, he leaves his sons David J. Skipton and his wife, Deborah, of Wilbraham, MA and Andrew P. Skipton of New Salem, MA; grandchildren Sean and Michelle Skipton and sisters, Alberta Taylor of FL and Laddy Elwell of Bemidji, MN. Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:00AM in Enfield Street Cemetery, Rt.5, Enfield, CT. Burial will be in the family plot.
