Springfield-Edward R. LaBroad, Sr. 84, passed away on April 5, 2019.
A lifelong resident, he was a special delivery mail carrier for the Postal Service and a veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Predeceased by his wife, Doris (Bowers) LaBroad, his parents, 8 siblings and a daughter, he leaves his son Edward Jr. (Karrie) of Agawam and his daughter, Lori Suzor of Springfield, daughters Rhea and Darlene; siblings Joseph and Albert LaBroad and Jacqueline Dunn and many grandchildren.
Services to honor Mr. LaBroad and his wife will be held on April 12, 2019 beginning at 8:30 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA processing to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for burial with military honors at 10 AM.
