Eduardo Maldonado

SPRINGFIELD--Eduardo Maldonado, 45, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Kindred Hospital Parkview in Springfield, Massachusetts. Eduardo was born in Riopiedra, Puerto Rico on April 25, 1965. Living in Springfield most of his life, he was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School Class of 1984 where he served in the ROTC. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He loved sports and dancing. Predeceased by his father, Eduardo Maldonado, he is survived by his mother, Carmela Flores Maldonado; his step-father, Nate Moyet; daughters: Starr, Trixie and Nayarid Maldonado, all of Springfield, Massachusetts; sisters: Lissette Maldonado of Springfield, and Ana Maldonado of Puerto Rico; brothers: Omar and Reynaldo Maldonado of Puerto Rico; and grandchildren: Nah-Zere Maldonado and Rae’Quan Edwards. Locally he leaves two nephews: Victor Valasquez and Eddie Alvarez; one niece, Jessie Shandell Cruz, and several other nieces and nephews in Puerto Rico. Services are private.
