Edmund B. Bowen

Holyoke – Edmund B. Bowen, 94, passed away at the Holyoke Veterans’ Home surrounded by his beloved family on August 13, 2023.
He was born in East Boston, MA on May 9, 1929. Son of the late John Patrick Bowen and Elizabeth Anne Hickey. Edmund received his B.S. in Engineering at Northeastern University and worked at the Raytheon Corporation for over 30 years.
Edmund was a strong, smart and gentle man with a wicked sense of humor. This served him well all his life. He loved his family and all his many pets. He was the best father anyone could ask for. He will be missed more than words can say. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Bowen, son Paul Bowen, son-in-law Sanford Scharmer, daughter-in-law Patricia Bowen, and his two grandchildren, Kelly, and Carolyn Bowen.
