Huntington – Earl G. Heath, Jr., 89, a sixty-one year Huntington resident, passed away at home surrounded by his beloved family on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
He was born in Thompsonville, CT on April 10, 1928 a son of the late Earl G. Heath, Sr. and Ida (Finkle) Heath. He attended local schools and served in the US Army during the Korean War receiving the Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars and the United Nations Service Medal. He was retired from the former Texon in Russell. He enjoyed stock car racing and driving his Mustang.
He is survived by his wife Mary (Sarafin) Heath, his son, Jeffrey Heath and his wife Sharon of Huntington, his daughter, Tammy Daignault and her husband William of Windsor, MA. He also leaves his brother Robert A. Heath and his wife Ariana of CT. He will be sadly missed by his grandson Ryan Heath, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, George, and two sisters, Janet Heath and Verna Barfknecht.
