Dorris L. Volk

Dorris Lutz Volk of Pittsfield, MA, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022 at the age of 92.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles R. Volk.
She is survived by her 5 children: Randy Volk [Jen] , Marc Volk [Wendi], Paula Terkelsen [Paul], Wendy Lane [Dave], and Eric Volk. Along with her children, Dorris is survived by her loving grandchildren; John, Wesley, Margaret, Lindsay, Dale, Garrett, Amy, Brian, Wyatt, Anna, Nicholas, Jessica, and Matthew, along with 5 great-grandchildren.
Dorris was born to William and Mary Lutz in Evan City, PA. and moved to Pittsfield, MA as a child. Dorris was a beautiful and loving mother who was actively involved in church and hospital organizations. She volunteered as an ombudsman for nursing facilities. She was a talented soprano singer and excellent skier. Dorris loved to travel and gave her children many adventures across the country camping. Dorris will be dearly missed by her family but the fond memories of the life she shared with all of us and the opportunities she gave us will be truly cherished.
A private family gathering will be held at a future date at the Pittsfield Cemetery.
