Dorris Hall

SPRINGFIELD-Dorris Hall, 80, died February 21, 2013. Born on March 12, 1932 in Tupelo, MS she had lived in the area for over 50 years. Dorris was hard working and devoted to her friends. Always finding beauty in the world around her, she loved life and bringing joy to those around her. She will be remembered for her generous and caring heart. She enjoyed arts and crafts, baking and decorating cakes and floral arranging. She was a member of Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she was in the sanctuary choir and Sabbath School Teacher where she often enjoyed her favorite song, How Great Thou Art. She leaves her caregivers, Boston and Christine Cuffie and Ruth Campbell; goddaughters: Hazel Wilson Baptiste of Monticello, FL, Sylvia Van Horn Wright of Niagara Falls, NY and Marcia Van Horn of Houston, TX; godson, Elisha Colgram of Springfield, MA and special friends: Pastor Arthur Morgan, Elisha Colgram Sr., Odine Graham, Donnie Happen and Shirley Smiley. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery.
