Dorothy M. Mckenna

Hampden—Dorothy M. McKenna, 87, died peacefully on November 1, 2010 at Wingate at Hampden. Born on September 1, 1923 in Fall River, MA to James and Mary (Derrig) Lewis, she was a lifelong area resident and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Hampden. She and her husband, Robert, raised three daughters: Patricia Roj, of East Sandwich, MA, Susan McKenna, and her husband, Richard Conn, of New Milford, Ct, and Mary Jane Kliest, of Zephyr Hills, FL. Predeceased by her parents and her husband, she leaves her daughters, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 3 at 9:00 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA proceeding to St. Mary’s Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. A calling hour will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. Rites of Internment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
