Doris H. Wood

AGAWAM – Doris H. (Letendre) Wood, 87, died November 10, 2009 at Mary’s Meadow in Holyoke. Born in Lowell, MA to the late Arthur and Yvonne (Breault) Letendre, she was an Agawam resident for over fifty years. An accomplished seamstress, she owned a tailoring business for over twenty years and had also worked as a cafeteria worker for the Agawam Public Schools. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph I. Wood.

She leaves two sons: Ralph A. Wood and his wife, Joann, of Westfield and Mark A. Wood and his wife, Tina, of West Springfield; two daughters: Donna J. Buldrini and her husband, John F., of Southwick and Mary Lou Rosner of Agawam; seven grandchildren: Janina Buldrini, Matthew Buldrini, Aaron Wood, Christopher Wood, Clinton Buldrini, Kara Carbone and Brittany Wood; three great-grandchildren: Anthony and Chelsea Sanford and Jordan Buldrini and several other family members.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC is entrusted with arrangements.
