East Longmeadow – Donald E. Collins, 60, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2017.
He was born in Ludlow on June 18, 1957, the son of the late Donald F. and Margaret (Whitehill) Collins.
He attended local schools and was a graduate of STCC, and a Security Supervisor for RMI Security.
He is survived by his wife, Irene (Eliopoulos) Collins, his children, Jason (Shana) of Dalton, MA, Nicole Kalemkeridis (Yianni) of Walpole, MA, and Kristina Collins and her friend Joseph Coon of Swansea. He also leaves his brother, Glenn Collins of Wilbraham, two grandchildren, Sadie and Everett Collins, and his mother in law, Evrydike Eliopoulos.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral at the corner of Main and Plainfield Streets, for a period of visitation from 10 – 11am with the funeral service at 11am. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
