Donald M. Birch

LUDLOW-Donald M. Birch died January 28, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA, son of the late George and Ruth Birch, he grew up in Ludlow and graduated from Ludlow High School in 1966. He served in the Army stationed in Germany. Donald was a self-employed carpenter and worked for many local contractors. Predeceased by his parents and a brother David, he leaves his sister, Diane of Ludlow; nephews: Jason (Melissa) and Tyler of Enfield, CT. Family and friends may gather on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA proceeding to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for burial with military honors.
