Dolores Ann (Pelkey) Gingras, 79, passed away on May 18, 2022.
She was born in Springfield, MA on July 13, 1942, a daughter of the late William and Rosetta (Holden) Pelkey. She previously worked at Nikki’s Cozy Lunch in the South End of Springfield and Holyoke Geriatrics. She was a homemaker and spent most of her time with her children and loved playing BINGO.
She was predeceased by three husbands: William Mahon, Sr., Sidney Desso, Sr. and David Gingras. She had five children: Deborah (Mahon) Perkins, Lisa Desso and Sidney Desso, Jr. and was predeceased by two: William Mahon, Jr., and Donna Mahon.
She also leaves her sister Pamela Hollis of Enfield, CT, grandson in law Donald Bledsoe, son in law Edwin Perkins, Sr., several nieces and nephews and her long-time best friend of seventy-five years, Janet. She also leaves grandchildren: Mandie Perkins, James Perkins, Edwin Perkins, Jr., and five others plus seven great grandchildren: Alexander, Destanee-Rose, Benjamin, Theodore, Sabashtien, Araycia and eight other great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister Florence Bennett.
Services will be held later in July after her eightieth birthday.
