CHICOPEE - Dianne L. (Shone) Murphy, 69, passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on March 07, 2018.
She was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on November 6, 1948, daughter of the late Doris Matthews and Ralph Shone both of Pennsylvania.
She attended schools in Chicopee and was a longtime Chicopee resident. For several years, she worked at US Tsubaki.
She will be remembered as a loving “Nana” and will sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Roland F. Gregoire, 2 sons Roland Gregoire of Maine, Daniel Gregoire of Chicopee, and 2 daughters Diane Twining of Chicopee, and Nicole Gregoire Landry and her husband Mark of West Springfield. She also leaves her 10 grandchildren, Justin Twining, Roland Gregoire, Raymond Gregoire, Kenneth Gregoire, Aaliyah Gregoire, Jacklyn Gregoire, Brianna Knowlton, Danielle Gregoire, Abrielle Wellspeak, Seth Landry and 1 great grandchild Adriel Morris, also many nieces and nephews, family and friends. She leaves a brother, Ralph Shone and his wife Irene, and 3 sisters, Karen Crawford and her husband James, Beverly Shone of Chicopee, and Debra Koske of Chicopee.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Shone.
