Diann H Gagnon (Douglas), 72, formerly of Springfield, passed away peacefully at home in Westfield on January 11, 2021.
She was born in Springfield on November 26, 1948, a daughter of the late Fredrick Douglas and Pauline (Beshaw).
She graduated from Springfield Technical High school and later STCC, to become a nurse.
Diann worked as a counselor at My Sisters House and enjoyed traveling, needlepoint and other crafts. She had a deep affection for animals, especially horses. For those who loved and knew her, they will remember her for her kindness, generosity and compassion for helping others.
Diann leaves her son Kenneth and his wife Michelle, her daughter Stacy and her boyfriend Steve, grandchildren: Alex, Aiden, Alexis, Ava and Kelsey (Sullivan) and many family members and friends.
Diann was predeceased by her sister Cathy, niece Samantha and grandson Paul Watts Jr.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
