Dennis J. Flynn

Agawam – Dennis J. Flynn, 73, passed away at home surrounded by his beloved family on Saturday, December 22, 2018.
He was born in Springfield on October 6, 1945, the son of the late Andrew and Rita (LaValley) Flynn.
He was a U S Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War and retired as a bus driver from Peter Pan Bus Lines after forty years of service receiving the Two Million Mile Award. Dennis was also a member of the Springfield Elks Lodge 61.
He is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Margaret (Johnson) Flynn, two sons, David Flynn of Indiana and Ronald Benoit (Laura) of Agawam, and his daughter Barbara McFarlin of Spencer, and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Francoeur.
Committal services with military honors will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10AM at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Agawam.
