SPRINGFIELD – Dennis F. English, 77, passed away on September 16, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center.
Born in Easthampton, MA on April 12, 1940 to Paul and Mary (Duso) English, he was a veteran of the US Army. He was a case manager for the Alcoholism Services of Greater Springfield and worked at Northampton State Hospital.
He loved rare coin collecting, roller skating, martial arts, astronomy, antique shows, flea markets and coin shows.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rodelita (Galanida) English, his children: David, Debra and Deanna English and Cherry Ann Galanida; siblings Donald, Barbara and Nancy and grandchildren.
Funeral services with military honors will be on September 21, 2017 at 1:30PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA processing to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for burial at 3PM. Visit www.nefcc.net
