Springfield – David L. Luth, 63, a thirty-year Springfield resident, peacefully passed away on September 30, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center.
He was born in South Hadley on November 18, 1965, the son of Minnie (Lind) Luth of Holyoke and the late Walter Luth, Jr. David was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and the ocean. He also loved hockey, both playing and watching, and riding his motorcycles.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his loving son David Christopher Luth, whom he loved very much and was so proud of his accomplishments.
He also leaves four sisters: Linda Wolf, Doris Hansen, Marsha McCarthy and Laurie Lavigne.
He was predeceased by his brother, Walter Luth.
In honoring David’s wishes a private family burial will take place.
