David L. Learned

Springfield – David L. Learned, 60, passed away July 5, 2014 at his home. Born October 20, 1953 to the late Benjamin and Helen (Slicer) Learned, he was a graduate of the High School of Commerce in 1971. Mr. Learned was an artist who enjoyed nature, the environment, puzzles, and was also an avid reader.

Predeceased by his siblings Benjamin Learned Jr., Robert Learned, Ann Burroughs, Janice Benware and Rosemary Learned, he leaves his twin brother Donald Learned (Sherry), Charles Learned (Lorraine), Richard Learned (David), John Learned, James Learned, Sandra White (Douglas), Sheila Stanley (Kenneth), Karen Burroughs (Jon), Shirley Flebotte (Richard), and Melody Taylor as well as many other family members. For those who may wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street Springfield, MA with burial to follow at Springfield Street Cemetery, Agawam, MA. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening July 9, 2014 from 6-8 PM. Visit www.nefcc.net
