David Karbone, born April 3, 1982 to Deborah and David Karbon Sr., birth name David Karbon, Jr. David was Native American and a bright child who excelled in all courses throughout school and college earning an Associate in Science in Business Administration and a Associate in Liberal Arts and General Studies from STCC.

Throughout childhood into adulthood he played the game of chess, a game he loved and began teaching to his nephew Michael Colon. David loved to read, enjoyed movies noting one favorite, GODFATHER 2, and working out at the gym. He loved to sing and had a diverse taste in music from Johnny Cash, Jay – Z, Coldplay, Linkin Park, to Pink Floyd. He loved debating about any topic, trend, or current event. David was called SLUG BUG and BUBBLE UP by his grandmother Eleanor Converse whom he loved with all his heart.

David had strong ties to family and enjoyed hanging out and spending time with them. Aunt Lori Converse remarked recently that David's smile was contagious. David loved the city of Springfield and he loved Boston and sports. He was a BOSTON RED SOX, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics Fan. He enjoyed going to the mall with uncles Jimmy Converse and Robert Converse (passed in 1986). David adored his nephews and marveled how well his sister Amanda Colon and brother in law AJ Colon were parenting Michael, Adam and William Colon. David was proud of his sister Eleanor Karbon because she graduated college. David had a big heart and is known for his generosity, often giving his clothes to others.

David built close relationships with step bothers Kyle and Jeremy Obara and older sister Melissa Wenzel, and he never liked the term “Step”. David had charisma and developed many long and lasting friendships; RaShina was a life-long loving friend. David lived a full packed life; he touched many lives through laughter and tears and he left behind many beautiful memories.
