David Garrafa, 78, passed away on April 15, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center.
Born on January 13, 1942 in Patillas, Puerto Rico to the late Maracela Rodriguez Pagan and Dionisio Garrafa, he worked as a machine operator for National Metal for many years.
David was a sociable, well known and well respected man in the North End of Springfield, MA. He was a devoted family oriented man who would do anything for his friends and family. He enjoyed cooking ethnic Puerto Rican dishes and serving them to his friends and family.
He leaves his loving family: David Jr., Charles, David, Evelyn, Betty and Miriam Garrafa, his former wife Ada, two brothers, three sisters, sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A private service and burial in Oak Grove Cemetery will be held with a public celebration of his life when the regulations are lifted.
