Dan Dietschler was born in Attleboro MA on August 13, 1971, and made his final journey home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2021.
The last three years of Dan’s life were spent working for Crete Transportation. As a long- distance truck driver he had an amazing opportunity to see America from the East to the West coast. According to Dan, Utah is the most beautiful state, but Texas was his absolute favorite.
Before the pandemic, Dan often stopped at hot yoga studios throughout the country, and when he drove to Florida, he always managed to find a place to park his rig and take a quick dip in the ocean. Dan also liked to fish and would spend hours patiently waiting for the “big one”.
Dan’s passing left a void in the lives of his many close friends. Dave, Kevin, Justin, Karena, and Kim, you know who you are, last names aren’t necessary.
Dan’s mom and dad, Tom and Mary Ann Dietschler, his brother, Jeff, and sister-in-law Lisa Dietschler, and his sister, Jenna and brother-in-law Todd Banaitis will miss him very much. At family dinners, Dan often entertained them with stories of the road and the characters he met.
Dan’s nieces and nephews, Caleb and Chloe Banaitis and Sophia and Sam Dietschler dubbed him the “fun uncle”. He made them laugh with his practical jokes, antics, and incredibly long—but funny—stories.
