Daniel B. Deroche

South Windsor, CT - Daniel B. Deroche, 56, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. He leaves behind his children, Matthew, Megan, Melissa, their mother Nancy Forni, Oliver, Jack and stepson Nicholas and their mother Amy Azzara.
Dan was born on January 30, 1961 in Springfield, Mass., to John and Joan Deroche. He is survived by his siblings Debra Hassin and her husband Bill, David Deroche and his wife Donna, and Elaine Deroche.
He graduated from Needham High School in 1978 and from Branford Hall Career Institute in 2013. He worked in a variety of careers, but his all-time favorite role was that of father.
A memorial service is scheduled for August 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Unity Church, 919 Ellington Road, South Windsor, Conn. Donations can be made to Treasured Time (treasuredtime.org) in lieu of flowers.
