Cynthia L. Bell

Cynthia L. "Cindi" (Buffum) Bell, 57, beloved wife of James Bell, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on March 27, 1959, the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Hutcheons) Buffum of Longmeadow.She was a graduate of Longmeadow High School and worked for many years on Cape Cod at Mildred’s Chowder House and Hearth and Kettle. Most recently she was part owner of Jennifers Kitchen in Chicopee. Cindi loved the ocean, especially Cape Cod, the restaurant, quilting, and her Cocker Spaniels, Holly and Brady.In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her son John Sances of Chicopee, brother Scott Buffum of Holyoke, paternal grandmother Emma Lyon of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and four step daughters.She also leaves her granddaughter Juliet Sances of Chicopee and six step grandchildren, Gavin Labossier, Zoe Diaz, Khalil Verdejo, Eli Verdejo, Michael Lappee and Jayden Lappee.She was predeceased by her son Stephen R.
