Craig D. Lorraine

NORTHAMPTON-Craig D. Lorraine died suddenly on February 8, 2011 at the age of 45. Born in Holyoke, MA on January 7, 1966 to the late Robert and Phyllis (Craig) Lorraine and he was a member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. A graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School Class of 1984, his hobbies included music, reading and biking. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving his country during the Persian Gulf War. His family and friends will especially miss his kind, generous, free spirited nature, particularly his sisters who loved him dearly. He leaves his sisters: Lynn Brofos, of Hopkinton, NH, Lisa Vieira, of Marstons Mills, MA, Francine Cummings, of Sandwich, MA and Andrea Lorraine, of Salem, MA; his niece, Chantal Cummings; his nephews: James Brofos and John Vieira; and his aunt, Gloria Graves, of FL. A military funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 16 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA proceeding to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for burial with full military honors at 1 PM.
