Charlotte C. Lamson

Charlotte C. (Doe) Lamson, 82, of West Springfield, MA passed away on April 18, 2022 with her children by her side.
Charlotte was born in Cambridge, MA and attended the High School of Commerce in Springfield, MA. She was married to Chuck Lamson, a twenty-year U. S. Air Force veteran, for eighteen years and traveled extensively with her small family, living in various areas of the United States and abroad. During this time Charlotte had a keen interest in Archaeology and would often take her children on hikes to search for ancient Native American artifacts as well as exploration of the ancient ruins of Ephesus while living in Turkey and the Acropolis of Athens during a short visit in Greece.
Charlotte was an avid reader and would encourage her children to read and would often search and buy books on the sciences and history. Charlotte enjoyed carrying on her mother’s tradition of having family over for Sunday dinners and playing cards.
She is survived by her son Howard Lamson and his wife Pam, daughter Marcia Lamson, and granddaughter Amanda Guagliardo and her husband Justin, two nieces and five nephews. Charlotte’s favorite charities were St. Jude and Wounded Warriors Project.
