Charles Joseph Collins

CHICOPEE-Charles Joseph Collins, 59, died March 31, 2011 at Country Estates of Agawam. Born in Holyoke, MA to the late Charles Earl and Sophie (Staknis) Collins, he had worked for many years at J. Polep Distribution Services in Chicopee. Predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Trumbell, he leaves his son, Charles Joseph Collins II, who is currently serving his country in the United States Air Force stationed in Japan, and his wife, Maricille; his brother, Michael A. Collins, and his wife, Linda, of Springfield, MA; and his grandchildren: Dimple, Philip, Annabelle and Charles III. Service arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family .The family would like to acknowledge the special care given to Charles by the staff at Country Estates, 1200 Suffield St., Agawam, MA 01001, and Baystate VNA Hospice, P.O. Box 9058, Springfield, MA 01102-9058 and invite memorial contributions to be made in Charles’ name to these services.
