Catarina Pascual Jose, 55, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on February 1, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in San Miguel Acatán, Hue Huetenango, Guatemala on December 12, 1965 to Diego Pascual Jimenez and Maria Jose Domingo Pascual.
She arrived in Springfield 22 years ago, coming from Palm Beach, Florida and previously Guatemala. She was a wonderful wife who loved cooking and baking bread. Predeceased by her son Diego Gaspar (January 14, 2003), she is survived by her two sons: Roberto and his wife Jennifer (Vivenzio) and Geraldo Pascual; four daughters: Marisias Pascual, Flordilama Pascual and her husband Yovani Garcia, Labra Pascual, and Juana Pascual and her fiancé Donald Salguero; her husband Miguel Pascual; nine grandchildren: Vitalina O. Pascual, Jose Miguel O. Pascual, Catarina C. Pascual, Jennifer B. Pascual, Miguel Angel O. Pascual, Martha Liz G. Pascual, Katarina LizBeth G. Pascual, Julian S. Pascual and Adriano Pascual; one stepson Alex Pasquale; two stepdaughters: Erica Juan and Floridalma Pascual-Juan.
Funeral services will be held on February 5, 2021 beginning with a walk-thru wake at 8:30AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church at 11AM, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA. Rites of Committal will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA. Masks and social distancing are required.
