Carol Ann Downes

Springfield- Carol Ann Downes, 68, died in Springfield on June 1, 2010. Born in Fitchburg, MA to the late Charles and Dorothy (Croswell) Downs, she had worked as a waitress. Her hobbies included swimming at Loon Pond as a child, taking long walks, reading and listening to music. She leaves her siblings, Francis Downs of Chicopee and George and Peter Downs and Linda Fitzgerald of St. Petersburg, FL. Thank you to Sam the cat from Steady Companion, along with the staff of Shelter Plus Mental Health Association, Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. and Meals on Wheels.
