Wales – Carol A. (Sealander) Bell, 72, passed away on May 10, 2019 in the comfort of the home of her son in Westfield.
She was born in Springfield, MA on September 25, 1946 to the late Richard and Dolores (Killian) Sealander and was a graduate of the High School of Commerce, Class of 1964.
She retired from Church World Services where she worked as a secretary for many years. As such, she organized Crop Walks and various humanitarian relief projects in the United States and other countries, once traveling with supplies to the people of Honduras. She will be most remembered for the love she showed her family. A lover of animals, her hobbies included cooking and baking.
She is survived by her son, Frederick “Rick” Bell, Jr. and his wife, Bridgette of Westfield; daughters: Lisa MacLean and her fiancé, Eduardo Garcia and Carin Duclos and her husband, David, all of TX.; brothers Richard Sealander, Jr. and his wife, Angela of CT and Brian Sealander and his wife, Wanda of NH; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her loyal dog, Sousie and many other family members.
