Springfield – Carmen M. Cotto, 60, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on February 28, 2020.
She was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico on April 16, 1959 to Julio Banilla and Juana Mendez and resided in Springfield, MA since the age of eight.
Carmen was employed as a factory worker at INS Radioactive Uniforms and enjoyed cooking, camping and her dogs. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
She leaves her daughters Dalila and Evelyn Cotto; six grandchildren, Steven, Veronica, Asiahanna, Antonio, Glenda and Millie and six great-grandchildren, Harmon, Antonio, Honesti, Ava, Avery and Benjamin.
The viewing will be on March 9, 2020 at 10AM with service at 12PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
