Caren Stewart Britt

WEST SPRINGFIELD - Caren Stewart Britt of Clayton Drive in West Springfield, Masachusetts died on May 15, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Birkinghead, England to the late James and Marilyn Stewart and had lived in the United States since she was seven years old. A caring, giving person she worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Team Leader at Mt. Saint Vincent Nursing Home in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She regarded the residents there as her family and thoroughly enjoyed spending her time making sure that the special days in their lives were recognized by presenting each resident with little gifts, cards, candy and flowers selected with loving attention. At her home she had many happy moments with her pet birds. She leaves her husband, Robert S. Britt Jr. of West Springfield. Friends may gather for a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Friday May 21, 2010 at Mt. Saint Vincent Chapel located at Mt. Saint Vincent Nursing Home, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke, Massachusetts. Visitation will precede the service from 1:00-2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Saint Vincent Activities Fund, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke, Massachusetts 01040.
