SOUTHWICK - Burton E. Koch, 83, died May 10, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Burton will be remembered as a humble, friendly, caring man with a great sense of humor who was fluent in German. He enjoyed planting the flower beds at the guard post and was an avid gun collector and skeet shooter.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia; sons Burton Koch, Vincent and Rene Koch and Theodore Koch; daughters Sharon and Lou Clement, Debra and Zayle Carter, Lisa King, Charlotte and Steven Augustus and Donna Koch; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and his best buddy, his dog Zack.
Private services begin at 1:45PM on May 19, 2014 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA proceeding to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for burial. Visit www.nefcc.net
