Burton Bruce Burger

Burton B. Burger, 89, of Chicopee, Massachusetts passed away on June 11, 2025. He was born in Buffalo, NY on December 26, 1935, to the late Milton and Ruth (Shroeder) Burger. Burton was a proud graduate of Springfield College and dedicated his life to teaching and coaching. He taught physical education and wrestling in the Chicopee school system and coached wrestling and football at Wilbraham Academy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Wes. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Beverly D. Burger of Chicopee; two daughters, Julia Rakus and her husband Steven, and Andrea Mandlinci; five cherished grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
